Spotify,Neil Young and the news

Do I feel the need to defend one of my all time favorite musician and activist?

Yes!

Am I going to?

Only to this point.

I rarely listen to podcasts.I never listened to Rogan so I don't have anything to go on but what I see and hear from the media.

I read that Neil Young's request has brought an issue to light and it is being addressed. By Rogan and Spotify.

Spotify should thank Young because I'm sure this whole thing has driven traffic their way.

It's not my main source for music but I go there. I have a free account. I'm not going to stop using it.

I'm not going to start listening to Rogan.

I certainly am not going to stop listening to Neil Young and anybody who is creating those memes suggesting that he wanted Rogan shut down or that Rogan should join Crosby,Stills and Nash are spreading idiocy and false information.

Neil Young made it clear that Rogan has a right to do what he does. Neil also made it clear that Rogan has a responsibility to not spread false information. he did not call for him to be dropped. That is being done by petitioners in Move On. They have every right to call for that and I have every right to ignore those petitions.

Neil Young chose the honorable and responsible and intelligent way to point out what he felt was hurtful and misleading. And he made a difference.
